Coordinate the site supply and charger circuits
The switchboard needs to reflect how the chargers operate, the available supply and any planned expansion. A charger schedule should identify input requirements, circuit quantities and the demand assumptions used for the design.
We manufacture the distribution assembly. Charger selection, network operation and any external load-management system need to be coordinated with the parties responsible for those systems.
Kiosk construction, access and cable entry
Enclosure selection takes account of weather, corrosion exposure, public access, ventilation and service clearances. Stainless steel and aluminium construction options can be considered to suit the installation.
Discuss plinths, cable routes, incoming and outgoing terminations and how the equipment will be delivered into position. Assembly current, fault rating and IP requirements must be established for the actual configuration.
Protection, metering and interfaces
Confirm the protection requirements of the selected chargers and the project design. Metering, communications and load-management interfaces should be defined in the specification, including who supplies, configures and commissions each component.
