Modular low-voltage switchboards manufactured in Invercargill using the Logstrup platform. Platform capability extends to 8,000 A, with the usable rating established for the project’s assembly and operating conditions.
Configure the lineup around the project
The Logstrup system provides a modular framework for LV switchboard construction. CWS assembles and wires the equipment in Invercargill, coordinating the enclosure, busbar system, switching devices and outgoing circuits with the project specification.
Applications include main switchboards and motor control centres. The appropriate arrangement depends on the incoming supply, load mix, separation requirements and maintenance strategy.
8,000 A describes platform capability
A platform maximum is not a rating for every completed board. Current capacity, temperature rise, fault withstand, enclosure protection and the selected devices need to be considered together for the proposed assembly.
Supply the prospective fault level and required withstand duration, along with operating voltage, ambient conditions and installation constraints. Verification information must apply to the actual design and its permitted variations.
Access and maintenance
Fixed, removable or withdrawable arrangements can be considered where supported by the selected system and equipment. Discuss safe access, separation, cable termination space and replacement strategy during design.
